Technician Diploma
Ordinary Diploma in Building and Civil
Engineering (ODC)
This course is intended for those students who
want to qualify as Civil Engineering technicians. It also acts
as a bridge to those who desire to pursue Higher Diploma in construction
and/or a degree in
either Architecture, Civil Engineering or Building Economics in
future.
Ordinary Diploma in Architectural Drawing and Draughtsmanship
(ADD)
The ADD Course is intended for those students who wish to qualify
as Architectural Draughtsmen. It can act as a bridge to those
who desire to pursue a Higher Diploma in construction and/or a
degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Building Economics
in future.
Ordinary Diploma in Water Engineering (ODWE)
This Course is intended for those students who may wish to qualify
as water engineering technicians. It also acts as a bridge to
those who may wish to pursue a Higher Diploma in Construction
and or a degree in Civil Engineering in future.
Ordinary Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
(ODE)
This course is intended for those students who may wish to qualify
as Electrical and Electronic technicians. It is also intended
for those students who are interested in pursuing a Higher Diploma
and/or degrees in either of the following fields
(i) Electrical Engineering
(ii) Electronic Engineering
(iii) Telecommunications Engineering and
(iv) Computer Science.
Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering
This course is intended for students who may wish to qualify as
Mechanical technicians. The course also acts as a bridge for those
interested in pursuing a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
and/or a degree in either Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Diploma in Computer repairs maintenance.
This is a two-year course, and intended for students who may wish
to specialise in computer software and hardware repairs.
Diploma in Computer Science.
This course is intended for those students who wish to specialise
as computer software and computer Microsystems specialists. It
is a two-year course and can act as a bridge to those who wish
to pursue higher qualifications in the future. The course takes
2 years.
Diploma in Computer systems Engineering.
This course combines some units from the Diploma in computer repairs
and maintenance and others from the Diploma in Computer science.
Those who take this course specialise in hardware, software and
Computer Microsystems. The course takes 2 years.
