Higher Diploma Courses

Currently K.P.M offers Higher Diploma courses in three fields. The minimum requirement for the Higher Diploma Courses is an ordinary Diploma in the relevant field.
Higher Diploma in Construction (Building and Civil Engineering)
This is a 2 year course intended for students who wish to upgrade in their knowledge of Building and Civil Engineering. This course can act as a bridge to a degree course in Civil Engineering or straight to a Masters Degree Programme in the United Kingdom.
Higher Diploma in Construction (Building Economics)
This course is intended for students who wish to upgrade and specialize in quantity surveying. The course duration is 2 years. The HDC Civil Engeneering holders take only one year on it. This course acts as a bridge to a degree in building Economics or to a master degree programme in U.K.
Higher Diploma In Electrical Engineering (HDE)
This course is intended for students who wish to upgrade and specialize in either of the following fields:-
(i) Telecommunications
(ii) Power supply
(iii)Electrical Machines & Utilization
(iv)Digital Electronics
(v) Industrial Electronics
